| Job Description:

The Access Specialist is an integral part of the hospice interdisciplinary care team and as such is responsible for articulating and promoting the mission and services of Lion Hospice to referral sources and the community at large. This is a "sales" based position, with monthly referral goals to be met each month.

Job Requirements:
|
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Previous sales/marketing experience required, training and/or experience in healthcare-related field preferred.
Valid Texas driver’s license and current auto liability insurance
Training into the hospice Medicare benefit, will be provided onsite.
Training into hospice philosophy, concepts and patient care, will be provided onsite.
Training in infection control and universal precautions, will be provided onsite.
Some College is required, BS/BA Degree is marketing/business/healthcare preferred.
